Run by the Birmingham and District Beekeeping Association, this six-week introductory course will teach you the theory of how to harvest honey and keep your bees healthy.
What you’ll learn:
- Honeybee natural history
- What you need to know to start beekeeping
- How to get your first bees
- How to look after the bees
- Keeping them healthy
- Swarming
- Problems
- Harvesting and processing honey
