Learn how to plan and design a thriving vegetable plot from scratch! This session covers everything from site surveys to selecting the best organic growing system for your space.
Planning is the foundation of a successful vegetable plot. In this session, you will learn how to conduct a site survey and use it to inform your plot design. We will explore various organic growing systems, including traditional and ‘no-dig’ methods, and discuss how to create accessible pathways and efficient crop rotations. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear plan for building a productive, well-organized, and sustainable vegetable garden.
This is a classroom session with some demonstrations, led by Jonathan Ensell.
