Join us for the second in a series of talks commemorating the 250th anniversary of Baskerville’s death. These talks will honour the life, work and death of the printer, deist and free-thinker, John Baskerville.

Birmingham as seen through its Display Typography

David Osbaldestin is a Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University. A Creative Director with a passion for typography, David uses his design and fine art skills to teach the complex art form of the printed letter. He has a wide-ranging role at BCU, teaching within Art and Design and Fine Art. David is an executive member of the Centre for Printing History & Culture, the Virtual Museum of Printing, the Printing Historical Society, and Print Networks.
