Screen Printing

Screen Printing with stencils, pencils and painting

Create painterly screen prints full of colour and pattern.  Explore screen printing using hand cut stencils combined with drawing or painting directly onto silk screens.  You will produce a series of different screen prints to take home at the end of the day.

During the workshop you will hand cut stencils of your own drawings or designs. You will use different drawing materials or colourful inks to draw or paint directly onto silk screens. You will then create screen prints using your stencils, silk screens and squeegees.

This course is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their skills.

Bring along ideas or images to use as a starting point.  All materials and equipment will be provided.  Inks are non-toxic and water soluble but may not wash off clothes.  Aprons will be provided or you can bring your own, and please bring something to take your prints home in.

Pre-booking is essential.  Tickets can be purchased using the Book Now button on this page or in the Winterbourne shop.
