Introduction to Aromatherapy

Using nourishing botanical oils and modern plant actives, learn how to professionally create bespoke skincare at home. You will leave this workshop with the skills to make oild blends and write your own recipes.

From luxurious body oils to power-packed facial treatments, you will learn the secrets to creating effective, tailor-made products for your own use, or for unique gifts.

You will be guided through each stage by Ethel Fitzjohn, Founder of the award-winning Fitzjohn Skin Care brand and expert cosmetic formulator with over 20 years’ beauty industry experience. You will make products to take away and will leave with the skills and knowledge to write your own oil blend recipes, choose the correct ingredient supplies and make products at home, with simple equipment in your kitchen.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.  All equipment and materials are provided. You may wish to wear clothes you do not mind dropping oils on (or bring an apron) and bring a notebook and pen. Recommended for ages 18+.

Attendees should make it known upon booking if they have any allergies to tree nuts (e.g. almond, coconut, etc).

The workshop will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture.
