Four pairs of soulmates meet in the Forest of Arden. One pair leap straight into bed. Another is instantly struck by each other’s beauty. The third torment each other. But the fourth enjoy a courtship that is so witty and playful that love itself is stretched to the limit.
Bring your own picnic, or enjoy refreshments from the Terrace Tea Room, as you settle in for an evening of Shakespearean entertainment.
Please make sure to bring your own chairs of picnic blanket for the performance. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks and the Terrace Tea Room will be open until the end of the interval selling light refreshments.
Our outdoor events go ahead in most weather conditions, including rain, and are non-refundable unless cancelled by Winterbourne. Please read our outdoor events policy before booking your tickets. All tickets are subject to a booking fee of up to £2.50.
