Create screen prints full of colour and pattern. Explore screen printing with our experienced tutor and produce a series of different screen prints to take home at the end of the day.
This course is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to refresh their skills.
In this practical workshop you’ll learn how to screen print onto paper using hand cut stencils. Drawn your own design and then carefully cut out stencils to screen print onto paper using the hand cut stencils, colourful water based inks, silkscreens and squeegees.
Bring along ideas or images to use as a starting point. All materials and equipment will be provided. Inks are non-toxic and water soluble but may not wash off clothes so bring and Apron or wear suitable clothing.
Karoline Rerrie is an illustrator who creates images by hand using drawing and screen printing, and an experienced tutor. Karoline’s work is characterised by the use of bold outlines, pattern and bright colours so it is well suited to the technique of screen printing.
Our workshops are suitable for ages 18+.
