Have you been inspired by our current exhibition, “Further than memory can reach”? Join artist Carolyn Blake to discover and explore the landscape of Winterbourne through art. To start the session, Carolyn will lead you on a creative adventure through the grounds to inspire your ideas.
There are two available sessions: Wednesday 27 August, or Thursday 28 August.
In this one-day workshop you will discover and explore the landscape of Winterbourne. Painter and educator Carolyn Blake will lead you on a creative adventure through the grounds of Winterbourne, enabling you to explore many ways of seeing, experiencing and interpreting this unique landscape. while at the same time referencing works of historical and contemporary artists. Once back in the workshop there will be time to develop your ideas using a variety of materials in a supportive environment.
Please bring a camping chair if you have one and clothing suitable for working outside. Some card, paper, inks and crayons will be available, but please bring a smart phone or tablet and some of your own materials, including paints and paintbrushes.
