Illustration Workshop: From words to pictures

Join artist Saranjit Birdi for an exciting free illustration workshop inspired by the Father’s Lines project.

The workshop will include a tour and discussion of some of Saranjit’s prints currently on display here at Winterbourne as part of the project ‘Father’s Lines‘. The project and workshop are both inspired by the short stories written by his late father, Punjabi author Surjit Birdi. Participants will be encouraged to draw meaning from words to create their own illustrations, with guidance from Saranjit.

What to expect:

• 2pm Introduction
• 2:10pm Drawing session
• 2.30pm Guided tour of the integrated Father’s Lines exhibition
• 3pm Drawing session
