Share the joy of Winterbourne

Voting for the 2025 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Partner Garden of the Year is now open, and we’d love your support.

We’re proud to be one of over 230 stunning RHS Partner Gardens from across the world. Now in its fifth year, the theme for this year’s competition is joy, so if Winterbourne has ever helped to put a smile on your face and brighten your day, please take a moment to vote for us.

This garden was amazing – a real gardener’s garden… An absolute joy, in all areas

Dr Tim Upson, RHS Director of Gardens and Horticulture, said: ‘We’re delighted to be running the RHS Partner Garden of the Year competition once again. Gardens have a unique way of uplifting us, and the gardens in our scheme are truly special, each offering a unique experience for visitors.’

Nothing means more to Winterbourne’s team of staff and volunteers than seeing visitors find moments of joy in their visit. Whether blown away by our herbaceous borders, mesmerised by the beauty of the Japanese Bridge, or inspired by the creative planting in the Walled Garden, we hope that every single visitor leaves Winterbourne having found their own moment of joy.

‘Wandering through the lush, landscaped grounds, I felt completely at peace. Every corner of the garden seemed to reveal something new—a vibrant flower bed, a quiet pond, or a secluded bench perfect for reflection… It’s a lovely spot to unwind and connect with nature, and I left feeling refreshed and inspired.’ – Winterbourne visitor
