Terrace Tea Room
As well as all the usual drinks and cakes, our Terrace Tea Room serves a delicious selection of homemade sandwiches, jacket potatoes, seasonal platters and one of the nicest afternoon teas in Birmingham. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.
The tea room is open daily from 10.30am and closes half an hour before the garden.

Find an array of beautifully designed cards, unusual hand-crafted jewellery, an eclectic mix of gifts and ornaments, and soaps made by artisans in the West Midlands at our one-of-a-kind Gift Shop. With artwork designed and printed in the Winterbourne Press available to purchase, and the courtyard filled with plants for sale, carefully selected by our garden team, there’s a piece of Winterbourne waiting to come home with you.
A new home for your books
Our Second Hand Bookshop allows you to browse through titles from all genres, from vintage classics, to gardening, cookbooks and even popular fiction releases, all looking for their next home. Need to make room on your shelves? We’re always looking for donations, if you would like to donate some books drop them off in reception. For larger quantities, give us a call on 0121 414 3003 in advance.
