Celebrate International Women’s Day by uncovering stories of women in the archives at Winterbourne House & Garden.
Led by Winterbourne’s Curator Henrietta Lockhart, this session explores the diaries, letters and photos from the Nettlefold family archive, shining a spotlight on the stories of the amazing women in the family. You will get a close-up look at photographs of women at work in WWII from our GKN collection, the unique botanical specimens collected by leading female naturalists, and so much more.
Due to the nature of the session, there will be no food or drink provided or allowed in the room.
Recommended for ages 18+. The session will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture. For any queries about this session, please email our Learning Officer, Ellie Hill.
All courses, workshops and events at Winterbourne House & Garden are non-refundable unless cancelled by Winterbourne.
