Willow Basket Weaving

Learn the ancient craft of willow weaving as you create your own basket using the stake and strand basketry technique.

During this workshop, tutor ILdiko Nagy will guide you through how to create a round basket with a stick handle. You will get to grips with the techniques of willow weaving, which can then be applied to different creations.

All materials and tools will be provided.

Recommended for ages 18+. The workshop will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture. For any queries about this workshop, please email our Learning Officer, Ellie Hill.
