Stained Glass Snowdrops

Learn the techniques of copper foiled (tiffany) stained glass to create a beautiful arrangement of stained glass snowdrops nestling in a small cup.

In this workshop, expert tutor Clare Wainwright will teach the four step process of copper foiled stained glass which involves glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. In the session you will be able to make some flowers and leaves, arrange and attach them into a small cup using oasis , moss and glue. A selection of cups will be available but please bring your own if you have a special one you would like to use. All other necessary materials will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to learn about the techniques of stained glass. Recommended for ages 18+. The workshop will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture. For any queries about this workshop, please email our Learning Officer, Ellie Hill.

There will be a short lunchbreak where you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or purchase food from Winterbourne’s tearoom. Tea and coffee will be provided.
