Create a beautiful arrangement of stained glass flowers, featuring poppies, daisies, rudbeckia and leaf sprigs. As you work to create your finished product, you will learn the four-step process of copper-foiled stained glass, which involves glass cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering.

Suitable for beginners and those with more experience, Claire will introduce you to techniques including cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering. In the session you will be able to make a few flowers and leaves on wire stems for you to arrange in your own vase at home.

There will be a short lunchbreak and so you a welcome to bring a packed lunch or purchase food from the café. Tea and coffee will be provided.

This workshop is taught by stained glass artist and educator Claire Wainwright.

Suitable for beginners and those looking to deepen their skills in stained glass making. Recommended for ages 18+. The workshop will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture.
