Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday with Illyria Theatre’s critically-acclaimed production of the glorious social comedy, Pride and Prejudice.
In a whirlwind of balls, dinners and very eligible officers, Lizzy Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy stand alone as the only sane, thoughtful people – and they hate each other! Or do they? Can she see beyond his pride, and can he overcome her prejudice, in order to achieve happiness? If your idea of Jane Austen is stuffy costume drama then this sparkling adaptation is guaranteed to change your mind.
Bring a picnic or enjoy refreshments from the Winterbourne Tearoom, as you sit back in the sunshine for an evening of wonderful entertainment. Seating will not be provided, so please make sure to bring your own chairs or outdoor blankets.
