Wending his way from art school in the dark ages to an established, international and multi award-winning heavyweight in the design world, Professor Phil Cleaver shares a visual tour through some of the highlights of his career to date. 

About Professor Phil Cleaver

Professor Phil Cleaver is an award-winning artist, author, and graphic designer. His personality was formed in the labyrinthine city of London, under the influence of (among other things) Punk, the Far East and some of the design industries most prominent and influential leaders.

Phil is a Professor in the Creative Industries at Middlesex University, Visiting Professor of Typography Birmingham City University, Fellow of Hereford College of Arts , Executive Director of China Europe International Design Culture Association (CEIDA). At present he holds 2 Adjunct Professorships in Malaysia and 3 visiting professorships in China

His early typographical work is archived in St Bride’s Printing Library. The books he has designed are in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum art Library.
