Brighten the winter months as you take inspiration from the plant life at Winterbourne, develop your skills in painting and drawing, and get to know like-minded creative individuals.
Suitable for any level, this ever-popular short course will encourage you to explore a variety of media and develop your skills as you paint and draw flowers. You will explore a variety of media such as charcoal, watercolours, acrylics, chalk & oil pastels as you study a variety of plant and flower life from the gardens and glasshouses and learn new techniques or extend your skills.
This workshop is taught by artist and educator Claire Leggett. Claire was Artist in Residence at Winterbourne in 2019. Through her termly courses, she has built a community of budding artists and creatives, sharing her love for colour, pattern and print
Some materials are supplied but you will need paper and other basic supplies of your own – a small materials list will be provided in advance of the course starting.
