Botanicals from the Archive – Fabric Appliqué Wall-hanging

A rare chance to access vintage pressed flowers from the Winterbourne archive as inspiration for your own appliquéd and hand-stitched wall hanging.

We will be able to handle and draw from a wide selection of vintage pressed botanicals in order to create fabric shapes and designs to hand-stitch.

This workshop is for the beginner and experienced embroiderer alike.  All the steps from drawing out your design, appliqué technique and embroidery stitches will be demonstrated and supported by Claire.

All necessary materials are included in the ticket price.  For those wishing to embrace the botanical theme fully, there will be naturally dyed fabrics available for a small additional charge.

You will leave with your personally designed, embroidered and appliquéd wall hanging.

Pre-booking is essential.  Tickets can be purchased in the Winterbourne shop or via the Book Now button on this page.
