Join Birmingham Contemporary Music Group Young Composers for an afternoon showcasing music they have composed, performed by professional musicians.
Inspired by the wonderful surroundings of Winterbourne House and Garden and New England composer Katherine Balch, their compositions will be performed throughout the gardens by BCMG violinists Colette Overdijk and Charlotte Skinner.
BCMG Young Composers is a series of creative workshops for young people aged 11-14. Each term, a group of young people compose new music for BCMG musicians often taking inspiration from music from BCMG concerts. This series of workshops has been led by composer Sara Caneva.
