Introduction to Garden Design

Do you have an interest in designing your own garden? Perhaps you’re looking at entering the garden design industry or
furthering your work in the horticultural industry.

This 6 -week programme gives an introduction to garden design, principles, planning and graphics. During the course you will create a garden design plan for your own space, planning for a garden space which works functionally while being aesthetically pleasing.

This short-course is taught by Rudge Wood Horticulture CIC. Rudge Wood was founded by joint directors, Darren Rudge and Helen Wood in 2020. Both have worked in horticulture for over 30 years; teaching, training and creating gardens.

Recommended for ages 18+. The short-course will take place in the Winterbourne Centre for Horticulture.
