Named after John Nicolson, the last private owner of Winterbourne, the Nicolson Building offers a range of five flexible contemporary meeting spaces, with capacity for up to 100 delegates in the main conference area. All the rooms are fitted with the latest in audio-visual support with the building’s largest space, the Nettlefold Room, making a perfect venue for formal presentations. There is also a series of smaller syndicate rooms available, ideal for breakout sessions. The building celebrates Nettlefold’s industrial connections with retro prints from his family firm GKN on the walls and the innovation theme is continued with the furniture – using Kite tables to offer the most flexible of room layouts. For refreshments, the building boasts a brand new refectory, providing delicious hot and cold dishes for any style of event and a coffee area allowing delegates to help themselves to hot drinks throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy the stunning setting of Winterbourne Botanic Garden – either by taking a stroll around the grounds to unwind during a break or by holding a drinks reception on the Terrace after their meeting. |
