Volunteering at Winterbourne

Like many other heritage attractions, Winterbourne benefits greatly from the time given by volunteers working in the house and garden.  If you join Winterbourne as a volunteer you will:

  • Be assigned a designated member of staff to be your supervisor, this person will guide you and assist you with any training that is necessary for the role, and be available to discuss any questions you may have
  • Receive information on what your volunteering role entails and also be given the chance to volunteer in other areas if the opportunity should arise
  • Have the chance to meet other people of similar interests and develop friendships
  • Become part of a team and develop skills that will be useful in the future

Current areas of volunteering include:-

Education

Guides/Room Stewards

Garden Work

Events and Shows

Research/Archiving

Photography

Promotional Material
